Recipe Collections

On Day#19 of the COVID-19 virus Quarantine here in California, I decided it seemed like the perfect time to finally do something with Mom's delicious recipes. Here they are in one easy to access pdf. I will update it often with more recipes. On each page is a recipe, family recollection or food note, and a family-related photo. Enjoy!

Below is a Holiday Collection and then there are 4 chapters of the original daily posts that include:

- a list of the cuisine origins by country/region

- a list of menu suggestions using these recipes

- an alphabetical index

- a index by categories

Hope you enjoy this collection of holiday recipes, activities and storiesThese all appeared in the original posts and are collected here for easy reference. Happy Holidays!

Please share these with others;

Mom would be delighted!

Mom loved to cook and entertain which this collection demonstrates well through the recipes, stories and photos.

She was in her glory when she was in the heat of the kitchen being a culinary chemist, snapping off rosemary or sage from the dried branches hanging above her kitchen sink to add an extra depth of flavor.

Cooking wasn't a task, it was a challenge. This tastes really good, but what can I add to make the flavor pop in my mouth, or make it burst with color on the plate! You can see this in the options offered with the recipes. Some are notes from her, and some are memories I had of successful experiments we tried, LOL!
